Best of the Web

Let’s jump right into it!

1. These metallic flash tattoos offered by stores like Flash Tattoos and iamu are bound to become a popular trend again this summer. Famous Instagrammers are already donning these jewelry-inspired temporary tattoos to compliment their beach, music fest or street styles. Even Queen Bee sported one on her Instagram page! I think I might buy a pair to compliment by summer bikini look!

2. Etsy shop Sparkly Pony is just simply adorable! If you’re an animal lover or simply, love the idea of cute stuff around the house, conversation starters, be sure to check out this store with close to 4,500 sales and over 11,000 admirers! My personal favorite: (which btw has nothing to do with animals)

3. Wishbone is a tiny portable thermometer you can easily insert into your iPhone’s or Android’s phone jack to measure temperature of the environment, an object or body on-the-go without any physical contact. Definitely a “smart” investment for new parents for only $39.99!

New York Fashion Week 2014

I am rather sad to report that after perusing through hundreds of pictures of designers and their ensemble showcased at New York Fashion Week last month, I not once experienced an AHA moment! déçu!!!! If this is what Spring is going to look like in America, then I’m not jiving it.

But…I still went through the luxury of handpicking my best moments from the ensemble delivered. Don’t hold your breath though…

Long overdue but necessary, my picks! One thing for sure – colors dominate!

Dress you up!

If you are a teacher who likes dressing up, you probably want to look cute and be comfortable at the same time without the need to have a sizable wallet but you just don’t have enough time in the day to make it happen. I know! That’s me every morning too!

I follow A.Teacher.A.Day who does an amazing job looking chic with stuff you would likely buy or may already have hiding in your closet. And proves looking cute can come at an affordable price!

Ami by Alexandre Mattiussi

Earlier this year, designer Alexandre Mattiussi debuted his sporty chic Fall/Winter 2014 Menswear collection during Paris Fashion Week. I loved his collection for the mere simple reason that it can be easily replicated on the streets. As I don’t see or expect even in my worst fashion deadliest nightmares my man to be caught on the streets wearing this:

awkward menswearSo I thought to share some of his collection with the masses in case you’re shopping for ideas on how to dress up your man this Fall in all ways desirable.
